How about this for a scenario.  Avon was surrounded by the federation
troopers..._in a circle_.  What if Avon fired one shot...and ducked? :-)
 
Seriously though, there has been some conjecture about Blake being alive
still.  I read in, I think it was the usenet blakes 7 group, that at a b7
convention years ago this question was brought up.  One of the writers from
the show said something along the lines of "Blake is dead.  capital D,
capital E, capital A, capital D.  If Blakes 7 ever comes back, Blake won't
be in it."  or words to that effect.  Hopefully, the writers have
forgotten this though, and they do eventually bring blakes 7 back (everyone
needs a dream I guess...)
