Yes, I know... and you can still use socket-specific send() and recv()
calls if you like, just like in IBM's toolkit. What you DON'T have
access to with EMX is some of the very high performance I/O functions
present in TCP/IP 4.1, but as I said earlier, us mortals don't even
have access to machines on which these functions would make a
significant difference... machines on which network I/O is so fast,
that copying the buffers in memory between calls to send() and recv()
slows it down! :)
