[ Quoting Timothy Piper to Scott Little ]
TP> Start buttons
What's wrong with the start button exactly (other than it's slower than
using the desktop - which is why I hardly ever use it, in which case it
doesn't make a difference being there or not).
TP> frequent crashes
Yawn.. we've covered this just a few times before. Some people can go months
without a problem (me) and some people can't get past the Introduction. It's
been fine for me.
TP> rigid non-customizable shells
Apart from cosmetic customisations (backgrounds in windows), explain to me
where this "customisation" of the WPS actually makes a difference to
completing a task?
TP> conventional memory
Other than in DOS boxes, tell me how I can force an out of conventional
memory error to test your claim.
TP> poor TCP/IP
How? And please quote where MS stated that Win95 was now a network server.
TP> worse networking
Does NT ring a bell?
Oh, and on the subject of TCP/IP and networking (ie. Peer), why does
installing
them on an 8 meg machine totally cripple it? Win95 can cope with TCP/IP,
share/client for MS networks, and client for many other networks without
any noticable difference.
TP> and not a single Object in sight?
OS2 is not object oriented. WPS is OO, but it's still not as good as is
should be.

- Scott
