-> I think it is just that "C++" is "hip", so everybody starts learning -> C++, and so C++ has the most "unexperienced" programmers, so that it -> is natural, that quite a lot of C++ programs do not behave too well -> ... I think you are absolutely right.. I have been coding and programming for a while now in C++. Started out with C++ until I saw a filesize difference between that app and a regualr C app does did the same thing. I say if you are doing lots of work, cut 'n' paste the code you need. That way, all the extra unused code doesn't get compiled in. I do mostly crytography, so I HAVE to have small programs with FAST runtime. I must say though, the C++ streams are bloated too much. They aren't even as powerful as the functions in 'stdio.h' that I have been coding my own streams. Do you have any tips for me? -=Dave=- --- PCBoard (R) v15.4 (OS/2) 250 Beta* Origin: JaceNet GateWayDestiny BBS: 1-850-477-1262 (1:3612/333) SEEN-BY: 396/1 632/0 371 633/260 262 267 270 371 635/444 506 728 639/252 SEEN-BY: 670/218 @PATH: 3612/333 360 366/47 3651/9 396/1 633/260 635/506 728 633/267 |
