subject: Greetings from Montana

Hello Paul,

WD>>>>>>> Great weather in Montana, Warm, a bit windy, Saturday 95F.
MM>>>>> I just saw a Dragonfly. Whoa..... there goes another one. :-)
JD>>>> There be dragons here :)

PQ>>> That would be 'Fargo' country, then.

LL>> What the frack do you know?

PQ> They extract oil there? Or, are you just a BSG fan?

They extract everything. Not just oil.
"Drill, baby, drill!" is their chant, led by
John McCain's favorite piece of eye candy,
Sarah Palin.

 PQ>>> A place to be avoided. ;)

 LL>> You ever been there?

PQ> Yes. Not as a participant.

There's not much there to participate in,
other than snowball fights.

LL>> Do you have any idea of what it is like to step inside a metal shed
LL>> and be hired on the spot for a job you know nothing about and get
LL>> paid wages that one can only dream about?

PQ> Yes. That describes my first job after having moved to this town 21 years
 PQ> ago.

I know what it is like being in a Boom Town. In the hey day
of the Oil Patch, companies were hiring winos and homeless
people, promising them wages beyond belief. It was all on
the up and up, the catch being the winos and homeless folks
needing to pay rent to the companies for a place to sleep.

LL>> Fargo, North Dakota is the place to be. Not Green Acres.

 PQ> Yes. That's the region.

The cost of living is all relative. People make high
wages in a boom town, but pay dearly for necessities.
