Hi Kevin,

Yes they work on the older environment, but still at the lower speed - 
it's only economical to buy the faster ones in anticipation of buying a 
faster motherboard. I am running 133MHz SODIMMS in my VAIO Notebook 
[1999] that is only 66MHz bus - restricted to that by on-board 64MB memory.
