There was one other time that we all drank too much, then had to play.  We 
wre hosting a Sunday jam session, and about 10 other bands were coming down 
to use our gear (a benefit for something).  We were told that we could play 
around 6:00.  We sat there and listened to all the other bands while 
management bought jug after jug of beer.  No lunch.  More beer.  No supper.  
More beer.  We finally go on at 9:00 at night.  We get up to play, and Dave 
our singer is doing exactly what you guys do, tripping over cables.  He's 
hollering at us to do a song that we had just finished about two songs 
before.  We were all too drunk to play well, and Dave was way over the edge.
We played about 6 songs, and ended up getting the gear the next day. 
Hasn't happended since.
