Well, the TRUE EVALUATOR arrived home to provide the ultimate
decision as to which printer gets returned, the LJ-2550n or the
C-86. Her opinion was that the photo quality of the C-86 was
superior, however, but the quality of the HP was adequate to her
purposes.
(Remember, she would have had to use the C-86 by herself with
Win98.)
I agree with her assessment. If photo quality is the overriding
factor, you can do better than the 2550n. But if compatibility
with OS/2 - eCS is significant, the 2550n does the job!
