TW>Your opinion/fact:?
Hi Tom,
No one can give you fact on this, but my OPINION is that maybe you
should have not put the box up when you first set them up. In other
words, if they are not spitting at each other or being otherwise
hostile a little "companionship" time without the stress of a nest
box may do wonders. In rare cases I have been able to get a pair to
breed right away without them having some relaxing time first. You have
only had them two years if my memory serves me right (maybe a little
longer) and the box has been up the whole time. Take the box down for
six weeks/2 months and then try again. In their own way greys do pair
bond. With greys it isn't like you are losing a breeding year by taking
that time off since they are not seasonal breeders (at least mine
aren't).
Worth a try, in my humble opinion.
