Yes, and due to the completely stupid voting system for the Senate,
the coalition and labor get about the same number of seats, even tho
the percentage of the votes they get countrywide is nothing like that
evenly balanced, so the tiny special interest groups which dont even
get into double digit percentages of the votes get the balance of power
and can play silly buggers like the Democrats are now doing after the
voters have made their wishes very clear indeed.

Labor got the lowest percentage of the vote since the war.

No thanks, I'll point out that the voting system used to elect senators
is totally stuffed and it should be binned to get a workable system.
