In a message dated 01-15-99, Tony Master said to All about "icons in VP/2" Hi Tony, TM>How do I implement icons in a .exe with VP/2? I have v1.10 What do you mean by "implement"? If you want to create an icon use ICONEDIT.EXE, supplied with OS/2, to create the .ICO file. You can then use RC.EXE, the PM Resource Compiler also supplied with OS/2, to compile a resource script and bind it to an executable. You will need a line something like ICON 1 "My_prog.ICO" in your My_prog.RC file. The icon resource id. of 1 indicates the default icon the WPS will use for any program reference objects you create for the program. You need to run RC.EXE twice: once to compile My_prog.RC into My_prog.RES; and again to bind My_prog.RES to My_prog.EXE. All of the above is "language neutral" advice. It should work with any compiler for any language under OS/2.
