Oh ok.  I've seen those, and they are getting very popular here.  The new 
ones look really nice.  I don't see that much chrome on cars!
One of the local musicians that I've met, has a little television show where 
he hosts other musicians to play and sing while he accompanies them with 
slide on a "Dobro".  He gives lessons and workshops, and is a good guitarist 
himself.
When played well, those instruments can sound like a one mand band.
