Ionizing Radiation in general is bad for ALL living things, which is what can
leak from Hi voltage devices like a CRT. I would think the old addage like my
mom used to say "don't sit too close" applies. The lesser EMF field can be
measured up to a foot from most devices, so I would think 18-24" clearance
would be a safe bet.

Now if you wake up one morning and one of your fishies says "hello", don't
blame me .
