I have had a few of those and they are really mean fish. They pretty much dominated my tank even though they were smaller than all the other fish. I would recommend getting some Jewels. Jewels are really pretty fish and arent all that violent and seem to get along fairly well with other cichlids. Jack dempsies are kind of cool too other than they like to destroy all the plants in your tank! lol Good luck!
