I use 640x480 in my P75. I would use 800x600, but my monitor puts
part of the screen outside of screen in that mode. My framerate is
jumping around 10-25, and that's enough for me. You can play Duke
in SVGA even with 486/66 (fps 10-18).
It depens on your screen driver too.
I have Mattrox Millenium, which is quite fast.
