I'm sorry to hear that Mr. Francis' health is not the best, but I'd hardly 
characterize him as "very very old."  Good grief!  He was born in 1920, thus 
he is in his late 70's.  That's hardly remarkable in this day and age.
 
Yes, the man is getting on, and deserves a well-earned rest, but to me "very, 
very old" would describe somebody in their 100s.
