I still can't see how that made a difference. Even if the car was very
long-legged (2.28 final drive ratio or so) and way under torque convertor
stall speed the slight change in thottle position should not have done that
unless that change resulted in the torque convertor going into lock-up. I
forgot what knid of car you were talking about so I don't even know if this
would apply.
