Hi Jeff, >>> Who has the responsibility of generating the binkd.txt/binkd.nl file(s)? >>> I see that they are created using a script by: >>> "Created by binkd_nodelister.pl version 1.0 - 26 November 2002 >>> # Copyright (c) 2002 by Jerry Schwartz and Write by Night" >>Hmm... where do you see that in the list? There is a problem, I agree, but I >> don't see nodelister.pl in the list. > I grabbed that from the header of the current BINKD.TXT file Ok.. >>> I ask because BinkD chokes on the latest BINKD.TXT file that I grabbed from >>> filegate earlier. Seems there are many, many, many entries such as: >>> Node 1:11/331 ftn.emergencyscene.net >>> - >>> Node 1:11/340 binkp.echo-base-bbs.com >>> - >>> Node 1:120/0 ftn.rocasa.com;95.154.237.85 - >>> Node 1:120/229 xblade.mooo.com - >>> Node 1:120/301 bbs.legionhq.net:60178 - Node 1:120/302 mojo.synchro.net >>> ;bbs.mojosworld.net - >>>BinkD here chokes on the lines containing just a "-". I cleaned up the first >>> 1000 or lines. But if I run BinkD I get: >>>03:40 [21818] /home/bbs/sbbs/binkd/binkd.nl: line 1027: error in configurati >>> files >>> 03:40 [21818] -: unknown keyword >> I see CRLF at the end of the domain field in a lot of the entries, and yes, >> that would cause problems. >That's what I saw also. Taking them out fixes the problem as far as BinkD seem > to be concerned. >>Jame Clay creates the list but he hadn't been able to make a new list in a lo >> time because he was moving to more permanent location. I believe that is >> resolved now. I'll contact him and ask him to get out a new version. > Thanks. In the BINKD.TXT file I didn't see (Unless I missed it) him listed as > the person generating the list. It is in filegate.zxx, where file coords are listed, Jame's entry is under I-Nodelist FDN's file echo, I-BINKD. > I did a little searching for the nodelister.pl file to see if I could acquire > it and generate my own BINKD.TXT nodelist. Hopefully, I'll hear back from Jame about this so we don't all have to do that :) Take care, Janis --- BBBS/Li6 v4.10 Toy-3* Origin: Prism bbs (1:261/38) SEEN-BY: 18/200 34/999 90/1 116/18 120/302 123/500 128/187 140/1 218/700 222/2 SEEN-BY: 230/150 240/1120 249/303 250/1 261/38 100 266/404 267/155 280/1027 SEEN-BY: 282/1031 1056 292/907 908 320/119 219 340/400 393/68 70 633/267 280 SEEN-BY: 640/384 712/620 848 770/1 801/161 189 2320/100 @PATH: 261/38 712/848 633/267 |
