Oh yeah. :) There's another reason. I have echoes that aren't in
msgarea.ctl and are only accessed through the use of a "sysop" reader/editor.
They would never be packed using Format 2.

Rut-roh! Umm, try doing it as: [E:\MAX]sqpackp e:\max\marea (no ".dat") and
see what you get.
