I have the Zoom 56K internal and log on to a few bbs'. The maximum
connect rate I get to a board using a USR 33.6 is 31.200. I think this
is a limitation of my phone lines, not the modem.
Does anyone know what it costs to upgrade the wiring in your house
(average) from the old twisted pair (what I have) to newer stuff?
