          I'm sure you could write them, but why not just give 'em a call. I 
don't have the number, but information would have it. It's The Texas State 
Archive Building. It is attached (physically) to the State Capitol in Austin, 
Texas.
        As for whether they will send you the index.. .it is quite large, so

doubt it. You might be able to ask the to look up something for you. Try it.
