I was going to mention that _garnet_ paper conducts electricity
and should never be used to clean electrical contacts.

When neighbors knew neighbors it wasn't unusual for young
children to assist them when sharp eyes and steady hands were
necessary. The young learned a few things and the more
knowledgeable person was allowed to continue to make use of
their experience(s).

We don't seem to do this as often anymore but I am seriously
thinking it is what I will need sometime in the near future if
I intend to make use of what I have learned.
