| subject: | Binkley Setup help for Telnet |
Hi Brian.
BJR> Hi Everyone,
BJR> I am currently setting up a Maximus BBS called crazy town and I am
BJR> brand spanking new to Binkley. I have not a clue how to set it up to
BJR> work with Maximus software as well the Telnet. Can someone give me a
BJR> hand configuring it for the first time. Would be much obliged to get
BJR> my BBS on telnet.
I've been able to do this for years with both OS/2 and some variations of
Windows. First question, what operating system are you using? We'll go
from there, OK?
This is coming to you from just such a TelNet enabled Bink/Max/Squish
operation on IBM's OS/2. In this case this is a Fix Pack 17 box with Warp
4 using Ray Gwinn's SIO tools for the interfacing.
I also have test versions of the whole show up on WIN-XP with the COMIP toolsets.
Where do we start?
--> Sleep well; OS/2's still awake! ;)
