Yep.  The only time I ever reboot my OS/2 Warp Connect system is when I
upgrade to a new version of SIO (which is up to 1.57 now).
I don't have a problem with OS/2 scanning my CD-ROM on bootup, though...
I run a Toshiba XM3501B 4X SCSI CD-ROM on an Adaptec controller.
