I have always been an Alomar fan.but I think he was totally wrong
and lost control.He should be suspended for 20 or 25 games and
fined a ton.No excuse for this behavior.

Agreed,it was stupid but you brought up a very good point,I think
umpires do a lot to provoke ball players.Umpires appear to think
they are God,and have started throwing players out for looking at
them the wrong way.I saw an umpire throw out the Toronto catcher
this year it was totally unnecessary,I think the ump was on a
power trip.The Alomar called strike was a very lousy call The Ump
should have had the balls to admit it.However Alomar should make
a public apologee to this umpire and admit he lost control...
