subject: grunged packet

PE> You know when you sent me a packet containing a message from "All"
PE> about "19200 sux" and saying the MSDOS 5.0 had the same problem?

Vaguely

PE> Well that packet had another message in it as well, to Bill Grimsley.

Did it ? I don't remember.

PE> The packet was not a proper packet.

Oh!

PE> There was an extraneous x'00' at the end of the first message.

Well, I didn't put it there.

PE> Could you tell me what happened there?

ROFL...My name ain't God or Ba'al y'know

PE> If it was only QWK2PKT or PKTJOIN that you ran, then there is a
PE> problem somewhere, and I've checked PKTJOIN plenty of times, and
PE> can't see why it shouldn't work. Do you have any ideas?

It may have been one of the times I was running Tpoint and OLX from
within Windows. I haven't done that for ages, but I have once or
twice in the last week.

PE> My MSDOS version of PKTJOIN is 21519 bytes long. BFN.

Hmmm...Mine is 9992 bytes long and dated 11-01-94

Could you please auto-attach the latest Devil-Dialer stuff, PQWK and
PKTJOIN stuff for me to get later tonight. Ta... I'll check it out then.

Regards, Brenton
