SR> Right now, nothing. I have lots of projects to work on, and no
SR> energy to do them. That's depressing.
WB> I know that feeling well. If I hadn't had a miracle healing
WB> last October, I'd still be sitting here crying. Now
WB> I can at least do a few things and get something done,
WB> and I'm sure thankful.
That is indeed something to be thankful for. :) Maybe a time like that
will come for me, someday. It could happen.
WB> I've seen you on other echoes, so I think I know what the
WB> problem is. Crafting helps get rid of the depression but
WB> who feels like crafting when they hurt? Familiar feeling,
WB> believe me!
Not working is depressing. Depression keeps you from working. Not
working makes you more depressed, which makes you too sick to work. It
is a nasty spiral, and hard to break. It can happen.
WB> Tom said the only crafting I did when the FMS pain was so
WB> bad, was to go to Hobby Lobby and buy more craft supplies!
WB> He's pretty close to being right there, although I did do
WB> some things when I pushed myself.
My husband was not happy with me buying supplies and not having
anything finished to show for all that money. That pushed me to do
more, but that is no way to do crafting. You do it because it comes
from inside you, not just because someone outside you wants you to.
