True enough.. and yet, I wouldn't throw out the regular season for the
world.. I always hear people commenting that the regular season is pointless.
I don't really agree..  I love the fact that an 80 game season, 80 games
worth of work, can come down to the last 2 or 3 games of the year..  I love
keeping those regular season stats that tend to be more accurate (Player
gets into hot streak, cold streak, etc all through regular season, whereas
if you're hot in the playoffs, you end up looking like a superstar (Re: John
Druce))..  and, much as I hate to admit it, I love checking out the scores
of games like the Grizzlies vs. the Clippers, just to see who's the worst of
the worst :)
