I have an old safety razor that you can adjust by clicking a
band just under the head that is 38 years old now. Is this what
you mean or something new. Pardon my ignorance of names of
razors but I've been using throwaways for quite some time now.

I'm guessing you are referring to double-edged blades for
safety razors?
