Hi Don & Daniel,

To learn exactly which IRQs are being used by which PCI
cards/motherboard, and which possible values are available for swapping,
the following extract from a recent post of mine should be useful -- no
need to attempt to read the BIOS screen display at a rate of knots:

Get a copy of the following two archives:

1) pci101vk.zip [Original Craig Hart version modified by Veit Kannegeiser]

http://hobbes.nmsu.edu/pub/os2/util/misc/pci101vk.zip

2) spciirq.zip [originated by Veit Kannegeiser]

http://hobbes.nmsu.edu/pub/os2/system/drivers/spciirq.zip

These are tools that will 1) display the actual IRQs used by your system
and 2) allow you to modify the configuration data associated with any
onboard/PCI usage.

Both are *great* tools!

Note : set BIOS to non-PnP-mode when altering the config.sys to effect
the changes, and make sure there is a copy of spciirq.snp *also* copied
into \os2\boot [along with spciirq.sys], and entry for it added to
beginning of \os2\boot\snoop.lst!

FWIW every PCI-USB card I've encountered has never used the same IRQ for
al ports, anything up to 3 different ones for 4-ports in the one slot!

HTH
