We-e-e-ll, I'm not commenting on the whole site; I just read down to the
"why didn't the scrambled fighters get there in time?" part,
where the distance from Boston to NY is divided by an F-16's top speed. 
F-16s don't reach top speed the instant they lift off the runway, and for
that matter even after they've climbed to altitude: a trip of any length at
full afterburner would not give them much fuel to do anything once they'd
arrived.

So, on this one point at least, the site is being a bit disingenuous.
