Right. A postscript printer is just an ordinary printer with more 
inbuild (=postscript) hardware. In order to have profit of the extra 
hardware, you have to install the appropriate driver, which in respect 
to laser printers you'll find in the package "Pscripten.exe".  There are 
a lot of HP colour printers there. Have a look at the file pscript.lst.

Why want you to make it that complicated. Just install one driver, one 
object and then alter the settings IN THE APP you want to print with.

Anything you can do with the non PS-Laserjet driver you can do with the 
PS driver too.

Of course, what commercial people cunningly forget to tell: don't expect 
photo quality with a laser printer. A cheap HP inkjet does a far far 
better job on photo printing.

BTW: for photo printing, PMView PRO is the indespensable app.
