Does it look like I am laughing?  Does it look like anybody
else is laughing?  Not all sysops consider what is going on to
be a laughing matter.  Even if those who are causing problems
in fidonet are a joke themselves.

There is no real difference between a self-appointed
leader and a leader appoointed by his/her own hand-picked
group of followers.

A leader, whether self-appointed or not, who refuses to
abide by his/her own set of rules is by definition a tyrant.
An anti-democratic tyrant.

Is that what you support?  Despots and tyrants?
Despots and tryants who answer to no one but themselves?
