DB}} I LOVE THIS IDEA... Unfortunately hubby doesn't agree with us.
It would be wonderful being about to see the sky while working in room.
Seeing snow, rain, lightening, planes, etc., etc.... going overhear...
I LOVE IT....

Subj: R: HOME REPAIR

Diane,

I had some friends who did a
DB>lot of home repairs for us a while ago and they only charged for their
DB>materials, 1/2 time of labor and the rest was home cooked meals and
DB>desserts to take home to their families.

I like that idea, I have always been partial to bartering. I help
out some of my neighbors for the cost of a home cooked meal.

Subj: Christmas plant gifts

I just cleaned out the neighbourhood craft store of small decorated clay
pots. I'm off next to pick out some nice easy to maintain houseplants.
Hopefully I can mix and match pots and plants in combinations of three.
Something like two green and one flowering plant. One plant to a pot.
I'd love some suggestions of indoor easy to grow flowering and
non-flowering plants that would make nice combinations.
One I have in mind is two english ivy and one african violet.
I'm also trying to come up with other ideas for stuff to put into the
pots as gifts. A friend suggested filling them with cookies or candies.
Susan
