In Phil's parallel universe the deaths of the sons has nothing to do with the fact
that the sons and their associates decided to go down shooting.

By contrast, Saddam had a pistol he decided not to use and no one in the house above
him decided to shoot it out with the US military.

But it was a lesson for America for America's mistakes as far as Phil is concerned.
