Hi Jim,

Going back to your original mention of the HDD password protection,  I'm 
not *sure* from something that I remember reading a few months ago, 
about security on stolen equipment, whether any low level format will 
actually clear the password,  if this is a modern HDD, as it *may* be a 
firmware function on the HDD electronics?
