| subject: | Issues with FIDOPOLL in Raspberry Pi |
Hello everybody.
I am assisting a friend that's creating a BBS under a Raspberry Pi
to join FidoNET.
We did all the echomail configuration steps, and inside
"Echomail Nodes", we created the node of our Hub, 4:801/189, put
all the passwords and his binkp fqdn (bsbbs.com.br).
When he runs FIDOPOLL 4:801/189, the command fails due to name
resolution error. Only when we change "bsbbs.com.br" inside
Session Options with 4:801/189's IP address the connection goes through.
Funny thing is that, if he tries to establish a ssh session with
4:801/189, the ssh client's resolution works fine.
Has anyone experienced that before?
