I'm a fairly experienced  programmer using  QBX 7.1,  but I  have never
     worked with  DLL's/API's in my  programming environment.   What I would
     like to know consists of the following questions:
          1) Is it possible to use Windows-related DLL's/API's with QBX, and
          if so, how?
          2) How could I find out calling parameters/arguments for
          Windows-related DLL's/API's without enduring a lot of "heartburn"?
          3) Utilizing IMPLIB.EXE, and assuming I can find the calling
          arguments, is it possible to utilize the imported library(s) in
          an otherwise "normal" QBX environment?
