WRONG! the MERLIN beta release is scheduled for June. OS/2 isn't dead nor
is it going to die anytime soon. Even if IBM doesn't release MERLIN the
current Warp and Warp connect versions are far superior to anything Microsoft
has to offer by way of multitasking or networking for that matter. I agree
IBM hasn't done a very good job marketing OS/2 but the platform speaks for
it's self. Windows ** can't touch it!
OS/2 is wide open for a good BASIC compiler and now is the time to jump in
and stake your claim. If you continue to set around and listen to the hype
about how OS/2 is dead or dying your going to miss the boat.
Mr. Zale has put out the best BASIC compiler I have ever used and I owe him
my deepest thanks. He picked up the pieces when BORLAND tossed TURBO BASIC
away which was a big misstake on their part. Bob has proven
