Read this message with interest. You mentioned Cate's book which is now
unfortunately, I believe out of print. The Corinthinian Catastophy by (the
author's name excapes me.) ... published by Kregal is about a man who came
out of pentecostalism. I imagine that you, like me have charismatic and
pentecostal friends, but it in general has not been beneficial to growth in
the Lord for those participants. I'm not being sectarian.
Because of some of the books you recommended, you are now a regular baptist
(ala GARBC) or a fundamental baptist of some kind? I have a lot of dear
friends within fundamental baptist circles. Of the last few years, I've
fellowshiped among the plymouth brethren.
