Have you seen CRAFTS BEAUTIFUL?  It's a crafts magazine from England.
The issue I just bought shows a craft referred to as Parchment Craft and it 
looks just like what we are calling Pergamano.
The supplies call for PARCHMENT paper; white, gold & sepia ink; mapping pen; 
parchment craft scissors and some other supplies.  Sounds like what I've seen 
used on Aleene's for pergamano.
