It seems odd to me, too, Shoshona, and I agree with you that a Mac loader IS needed. It would be a wise move, too, particularly in light of the apparent willingness to woo Mac hosts by including the Mac BBS packages in their "special customer" arrangement in the sysop program. If there are other Mac sysops out there reading this, your words of support could go a long way toward helping encourage USR to release a Mac loader for Courier FlashROM updates. Shoshona is right, in my opinion, about the absurdity of having to purchase a DOS emulator just to load FlashROM. While I just happen to have an old version of SoftPC, I would NOT be in a position to purchase the current release of SoftWindows (retailing at a price greater than the Courier itself under the sysop program) simply to have a way to load FlashROM. Mac sysops everywhere would appreciate some attention to this situation, I'm sure, and that, in turn, would likely influence more of them to invest in the Courier line. My humble opinion, of course. Personally, I wouldn't use anything BUT a Courier.
