what do you mean by "integrate TSE into this environment"? you can't
somehow connect TSE and MSVC. however, you can of course use the
command-line compiler tools that come with MSVC (in fact the MSVC
"editor" does exactly that, too).
i use the COMPILE.MAC macro that comes with TSE, along with various
other macros of my own (many of which are available at ftp.semware.com).
MSVC is also a debugger (no, you can't use TSE as a debugger for Windows
C/C++ programs).
personally, i use MSVC as a debugger only, and i use TSE for all my
editing. for some projects, i use TSE's COMPILE.MAC to compile the
source files, for other projects i use the command line NMAKE tool
(comes with MSVC), and for other projects i use MSVC for compiling and
debugging only, and do all editing in TSE.
