-> I have a Periphex BP8S that I use on an Icom 02at. It is 9 years old
-> always rapid charged in an Icom charger.
BUT the Key is Using a Charger Desigend to Quick Charge that particualr
pack. Soem just Try to "Jam" it to it to shorten the charging time. But
You ase also very lucky. That is not typical life for a Ni Cad pack no
matter what method of charging is used. And while there are to many
circumstances to concider them all as a "General Rule". Quick Charging
shortens the Life of a Pack faster then Traditional Slow charging.
