-> Once more, more opinions from the other side of reality...
    I've always thought reality to have many sides with mine being the
most important to me!   :)
-> -> Hear, hear! NIN is great-Trent's music is close to his heart and
-> -> ears. Haven't heard of Stabbing Westward, so no comment from me.
->
-> CA> Chances are if you like NIN, you'd like Stabbing Westward.
->
-> Do tell of a good starting album. :)
    I've heard their debut but prefer _Wither Blister Burn + Peel_ for
the nearly total psychotic quality of songs like "I Don't Believe",
"Shame", and "What Do I Have to Do?"...
-> -> CA> Crystal, no one is going to hate you for liking music! :)
-> -> I don't know-by some of the respones I've seen on here, it seems t
-> -> some people do is hate someone else on their choice of music.
-> CA> Unfortunately you're right.  It's quite one thing to trash a
-> CA> musician or band and quite another to flame someone for liking
-> CA> music...
->
-> Well, I guess that shows the maturity of some of the people who post
    We're all human and most of us want to be liked by our fellow men
and women. So when we see a message "attacking" one of our favorite
bands or musicians, I think most people feel slighted...
-> I'm not perfect, mind you (FAR from it ;), but I try to respect other
-> musical preferences.
    Agreed.
    At the same time, if I don't like a band or musician, I'll say so if
it is pertinent to a discussion. I wouldn't enter a message like:
Subject:  Hanson sucks!
    If you hate Hanson, write back!
...
    I prefer to enter one saying I like a band or musician and give a
brief explanation why. And you notice I seldom review "awful music",
Enya being the exception.
-> -> Reminds me of the line from the movie "Blues Brothers" when they
-> go
-> CA> ROTFL!
-> CA> An excellent story aptly demonstrating the discussion! ---
-> I love that movie. ;) My dad got me into the blues and that movie re
-> of his discussion about the time he jammed with B.B. King ( do _YOU_
-> know what
-> "B.B." stands for? ) and his stereo-wired Gibson 335 that was stolen.
    I've heard the legacy, don't know if it's true. Refers to a portion
of his male anatomy?
    I've only recently (last couple years) gotten interested in Blues,
the likes of Sapphire, etc.
-> Blues is an often-unexplored region of music these days at least in
-> my generation. There's nothing like a little Stevie Ray Vaughn on
-> the drive home to mellow me out.
    I have an album or two of his. :)
    I prefer different genres on different days. Gotta be my schizo
self, right Elaine / Jennifer?
