Thanks for your reply. The demand drives the output, so the available sites
get to work at higher load factors. During WW2, NSW doubled elec energy
utput
[MWHrs] with NIL increase in installed capacity [MW]. The air pollution was
awful, near the major generating stations.

In the wealthy countries yes. But in the "third world" where the large
populations are, it would have peaked while ours flattened out. We have to
breathe their air!!

Hybrid is definitely the way to go.
