JS> The other day they had a "remote" with the most popular radio station

JS> phone. It sounded so bad that the disc jockey told her to call back.
JS> When she did they asked her what she had used. She said it was the
JS> Sprint phone. They spent the rest of the morning making fun of their
JS> sponser and how bad the phone sounded!
JS> Another ad on the radio has a guy calling and explaining how the PCS
JS> Primco phone sounds "almost" as good as his home phone!!!
The only times CDMA or GSM-TDMA hybrids should have any problem is never.
They never get static or anything like that, just when there is a very low
signal strength it sounds kind of funny. But it never sounds horrible,
and I am pretty sure sprint PCS is using solid CDMA system, and unless they
are using the bullshit 8kbs vocoders it should sound perfectly fine; not
house phone quality but perfectly fine.
