Someone in this conference posted a small paragraph about the amount of
injuries that NFL players on many teams had. And it was only week 1 of the
7
98 football season. I think the arguement that will appear once again from
football fans would be that spring training was to blame. That Spring
Training
was too long and a lot of injuries came out of it. But i wouldn't blame
spring training for all of it. I think things just happen on the football
field to players to get injuries. And for it to happen this early in the
season
is only because it happened. Teams have to deal with injuries all year no
matter if it happens early or late in the season. I think it's best that
it's
done early because then the get more time to rebound from the players they
had on the team that were out for weeks to months. So i wouldn't panic right
away for some teams that suffered big injuries, because big time players are
out so early for a long period of time. Because after last season with
Indianapolis and the amount of injuries they had but they still played hard
and won games? That i think many of us football fans have to agree that a
ot
of teams should be able to deal with early adversity. As for teams that got
a new look, well it could get better or worse. Because the team has this new
coach or new players, and it may take time for the team to win. The 49ers
ho
lost Rice, all we can say about it is that they need someone who is a
eciever
to take his place to make great plays and carry the team. Otherwise the team
will suffer without Rice, because they don't have anyone willing to take his
place. But in the end, i think no football fan should panic since it's too
early.
