1237a5ca61fb tech Hello Wayne - --8<--cut CA>> It feels good to be really good at what you are doing and CA>> when you can organize it and become efficient it is a CA>> pleasure. WC> And I got my revenge without doing anything unethical. --8<--cut WC> effortlessly. Well the first printer... Steve wanted to try WC> his hand on the second :-) I've never really been able to get revenge. Even the two owners who died within a year of firing me two weeks before Christmas remain as an unpleasant memory for me. A customer who was angry with _them_ threatened me and I didn't back down so they fired me. CA>> Problem is no one pays for that. I had a manager admit to CA>> me that I did the work of three people and had slowed to CA>> two people. It was messing up his scheduling you see and CA>> he wondered if I could go back to three. Seriously. I CA>> eventually left because of that conversation. I wasn't CA>> being paid three times what the other people were paid and CA>> I began to resent their expectations. WC> I was all but psychotic towards the end from all the WC> hassles. During my 7 years at that plant they maimed WC> numerous people and I count myself lucky I wasn't one of WC> them. I did take two trips to an emergency room for safety WC> problems I'd reported months in advance in one case and 2 WC> weeks in advance in the second case. I had a 5 ton piece of kirksite (mold) I was working on on two metal sawhorse. I stepped on a cross brace and it fell off! I refused to work on the mold and they had the owners brother weld up new sawhorse to _my_ specifications from small I beams so that I would continue to work on the molds. ;-) He did a great job of it too. --8<--cut WC> telemarketing on a Sunday when no-one was there. A toxic WC> mist was everywhere and rocks covered in acid were breaking WC> in half and popping like popcorn from reactions to the WC> acid. A main gas line ran right through where that was WC> dumped as well. I never had trouble with the electrical WC> workers union when I was hanging cable but sure wish WC> Precisionaire had been a union shop for all concerned WC> employees they s????d over. Same shop with the faulty sawhorse took a contract from GM and installed those sinks with the two rubber balls on chains. I knew what they were for but they never warned anyone about the danger or even told them what the 'sinks' were for. I refused to work around that equipment and they never asked me to again. The emergency overflow on that machine was piped directly into the storm drains (huge mistake and totally illegal). > > , , > o/ Charles_Angelich - DOS Ghost \o , > __o/ > / > www.undercoverdesign.com/dosghost/faf/ < \ __\__ ___ * ATP/16bit 2.31 * ...
