Nothing happened. Prices fluctuated little all day, closed up just a
cent. Volume fell to -14% below average. What else can I say, but
"nothing happened".

Oh, alright, today's volume was basically consistent with last fall &
winter's volume. The -14% is a measure of how the couple weeks of high
volume has pulled the moving average higher. But I wonder if reveals
antyhing about the Street's psychology. I've been thinking that the
Street was bailing out--taking lower prices to unload LOTS of stock. If
that were true, would they then stand aside and wait for whatever it was
they anticipated? All I can say is about 20% of my IRA is in cash
equivalents, and I'm not at all anxious to lay any bets. 'Nuf said?

Timing Signals: I don't use or recommend timing signals, but they're
fun to watch. If I did though, well, I might use something like this.
(Be warned!! It tends to whipsaw around signal points!)

Last Signal: SELL Date: 04/08/05 S&P: 1181
Winner or Loser: loser By: -10
